Hi, I’m Holly - the baker behind Holly & Dough.

Me and my partner moved to Abergavenny in search of a slower, better way of life for our young daughter. I wanted to be more present, to spend more time at home with her, and to build something that fit around our life & not the other way around. Originally from Cardiff, I found city life overwhelming and stressful and much preferred somewhere quieter. Honestly we have fallen in love with Abergavenny, the community, the views & the way life is slower here.

A year later and I regreted not being home as much with my daughter, missing key events and memories really upset me, so I needed to make a change so I could be home for her.. I soon realised that I was pretty good at baking and it was something I really enjoyed too! What started as a simple passion in the kitchen slowly grew into something more, and eventually inspired me to take a leap and turn it into a small business. I am so lucky to have such a supportive partner who built me kitchen units for my business and a shed from scratch! Handmade with love inside and out, it's truly one of a kind...

& that's how my honesty bake shed was born.

You’ll find my little shed filled with fresh, homemade bakes made inbetween snack time, story times, and everything else that comes with raising a young child.

But this is about more than just cakes and cookies. It’s about creating balance, community, trust and sharing something homemade with others.
